Luzon

Northern most Island Group of the Philippines. To the South of Luzon lies the Visayas and then Mindanao. Many expats live in Luzon, especially Manila and Angeles City.

The Luzon Island Group includes the following 8 Regions & 41 Provinces:

  • National Capital Region (NCR). Regional Center: Metro Manila
  • Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). Regional Center: Baguio City.
    Provinces: Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province.
  • Ilocos Region (Region I). Regional Center: San Fernando City (La Union).
    Provinces: Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan.
  • Cagayan Valley (Region II). Regional Center: Tuguegarao City.
    Provinces: Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino.
  • Central Luzon (Region III). Regional Center: San Fernando City (Pampanga).
    Provinces: Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales.
  • Calabarzon (Region IV-A). Regional Center: Calamba City.
    Provinces: Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Quezon, Rizal.
  • MIMAROPA (Region IV-B). Regional Center: Calapan City.
    Provinces: Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Palawan.
  • Bicol Region (Region V). Regional Center: Legazpi City.
    Provinces: Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Masbate, Sorsogon.
